Born in Kanazawa,
Ishikawa, Japan in 1976.
Left Kanagawa
University in 1998.
Started backpacking
while attending university.
I have traveled to
over 20 countries so far.
I worked at various
jobs, including a commercial photo studio,
a TV production
company, and an IT-related company,
but I was unable to
adapt to daytime Japanese society.
Fed up with
myself, I escaped to “Greater
Tokyo” after the last train,
and found peace and
quiet in nightscape photography.
In
2011, I started working as a nightscape
photographer.
I have held 6 solo
exhibitions, 12 group exhibitions
(including 4
overseas), and
provided works 6 times.
Currently, while
working as a nightshift certified
careworker,
I continue to spend
nightcrawling,
dodging questioning
for suspicious behavior from police
officers...

Yokohama.

村野 寛明
76年、金沢生まれ。
神奈川大学工学部中退。
大学在学中にバックパッカー旅行に取り憑かれ、
これまで25カ国に足を踏み入れる。
写真スタジオ、番組制作会社、IT関連企業などを転々とするも、
日本社会に馴染めぬ底なしネガティブ厭世感に耐え切れず、
終電に飛び乗りグレータートウキョウに逃亡した結果、
長時間露光と超高感度に心の平穏と静寂を見出す。
2011年より夜景写真家として活動を開始。
個展6回、グループ展12回(うち海外4回)、作品提供6回。
現在、夜勤専従の介護福祉士として働く傍ら、
今宵も職務質問を華麗にかわしナイトクロールを続ける...
